What are your set up/take down times?
We guarantee set up by 10 am. We begin taking down at 5pm and will do our best to give you as much time on the beach as possible.
How do I know which set up is mine?
Each set up will have a tag designating the set up as “Reserved,” and will include your name and dates.
Where will my chairs, umbrellas or tent be set up on the beach?
If you are renting a beach-front home, we will set up in front of your rental, space allowing. Otherwise, we will set up at the beach access closest to your rental, or the beach access you prefer.
What happens if I need to cancel?
Cancellations within 48 hours will be given a full refund, less any processing fees. For example, if you have a set up scheduled for Saturday, you would need to cancel by 10am on Thursday.
We are a family owned business, and have small children of our own. If extenuating circumstances arise, we are more than willing to work with you. Please just give us a call to discuss!
What happens if it rains?
Edisto Beach, and all coastal areas, are known for afternoon showers in the Spring and Summer months. We will not be able to provide refunds for pop-up rain showers or thunderstorms. We will only issue weather-related refunds when there is a tropical system that requires government issued beach evacuations or if we are unable to set-up equipment based on extreme weather conditions.
Beach Erosion
Certain areas have considerable beach erosion and may cause delay or early cutoff of service depending on the tides. Areas of beach erosion are constantly changing.
We will do our very best, if booked in one of these areas, to give you the most service possible during business hours, understanding that when the tide is high we may have to pull our equipment early or set up later in the day.
Should I book in advance?
We do book out of equipment during peak season. If you want to ensure that you have beach set ups secured for your stay, we recommend booking ahead of time.
You may call to inquire about same-day services, which are based on equipment availability. We are typically able to have your set up complete within 1-2 hours. Take downs begin at 5pm.
Important things to know about your day at Edisto Beach.
At Edisto, we take our love for turtles seriously! Please ensure that any holes are filled in at the end of the day, and make sure your lights are out when it’s dark out!
Glass is not allowed on the beach. We do our best to provide a couple of koozies at each set up (availability allowing), so leave your bottles at the rental and bring the cans for your day at the beach!
The tides on Edisto change drastically from week to week, and in correlation with the moon cycles. In some circumstances, we may have to take down your set up prior to 5pm, or set up later than 10am.
Our kids love the idea of playing on the rocks, but unfortunately, that’s a big no-no. Stay safe, and stay off the groins!
